Rita Redshoes, Musician and Composer

It’s a tiny town, but very cool. Surrounded by green, peace and tranquility. And at the same time, one can find here all that’s needed.

The voice that all the Portuguese know well was born 38 years ago in Lisbon, and has been dedicating her life to music. She started as a drummer on a school theatre group and was part of several musical projects: she was the vocals for the Atomic Bees, plaid bass with the Rebel Red Dog, had her own solo project, the Photographs, and since 2003 has been part of David Fonseca’s group. In parallel, she collaborates in several other projects, such as sound tracks. Her daughter is one of her biggest personal achievements; on a professional level, she wants to keep doing what she likes best – her music – and she is preparing the release of a new album still this year.
